With legacy providers, you only load positions. Because the Northstar platform combines risk and performance analysis, we load positions, trades, and performance data. This allows us to crosscheck the data as it is loaded. Because of our built-in data warehouse, we can also check for unusual changes to your portfolio. For example, we can automatically flag a large change in your value at risk. These checks are a core part of our system and are run every day from the security level to the portfolio level. Continuous reconciliation ensures that your risk and performance reports are accurate every time.
